Store for the Poor
As part of third grade religion curriculum, the students will hold their annual "Store for the Poor" rummage sale on Thursday, March 18th, in the 3rd grade classroom. The earnings for the store will be donated to one or more worthy charities. The students have collected many items to be sold, and are also working on making posters to advertise and crafts to be sold at the event.

Mardi Gras
Students and teachers celebrated Mardi Gras with a parade and prayer service. The students in 1st and 2nd grade headed the parade with noise makers. They went to each classroom and picked up students to add to the parade.
Each student created a link to a school chain which was carried by students in the parade. The chain has been placed in a cocoon for lent. After our Easter break, the cocoon will be opened to reveal the chain once again.
