Spanish for K - 2
The students in grades Kindergarten through 2 are learning words and phrases in Spanish. They come to Spanish class once a week and use Jumpstart Spanish in the lab to listen to the sounds of words, their meaning and to complete supplemental activities for the lessons. They are doing very well.
The students are able to identify numbers, shapes, colors, furniture, food items, and other concepts in Spanish. They are also learning to pray the Our Father, to greet each other and to make simple sentences. They are doing a great job. We hope that we can continue their knowledge of Spanish in 3rd grade and beyond.
